The foremost objective of the Computer Science and Engineering programme is to provide a sound technical platform and the required knowledge base and sharpen the technical skills as demanded by today's engineering professionals. It prepares them to face the challenges of today's IT professional by exposing them to a wide array of cutting-edge technologies.

To coach students to work in teams and provide insight and direction into the program which imparts an outstanding educational opportunity for those planning to pursue a career or to gain in-depth knowledge in computing technology and research, current trends, developments and analysis.
IT is switching to component-based application developments in all areas of operations. Presently Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, SAP are key areas of research and development through the world. Internet and Internet related applications are the standard of the industry today. Hence web enabling and application has become a must, in comparison to the desktop world. Analyzing the situation, we have decided to provide software manpower to the entire globe, which is reliable, of high quality and fault tolerant.
Future prospects:
At present the software industry is undergoing
a structural change so as to become one of the
most stable of all industries. As a result, presently
there is a slight slowdown in the overall speed
and is ultimately transient in the long run. All
technologies are getting finally stabilized in
this fashion. There is a tremendous prospect for
the software industry in the years to come.

The Department has faculty, fully qualified and
has experienced personnel with a varied spectrum
of academic and industrial background.
Laboratories:
We have fully equipped Computer Laboratories, Workstations and Servers with latest configuration under LAN network using licensed software from Microsoft Corporation to train our students right from Semester-I to the final Semester, including multi media and Internet labs.
