The college is situated at a prime location, Laxmeshwar, Dt. Gadag, near the twin-city of Hubli and Dharwad, the second largest town of Karnataka. While this twin city is already a cultural hub, it is also emerging Technological and Business Centre, the pride of Karnataka.

To fulfill the National Mission spelt out by our Honourable President of India, Dr. A. P.J. Kalam to provide Urban Amenities in Rural Area (PURA), a bold initiative has been taken by Smt. Kamala and Sri Venkappa M Agadi Charitable Trust (Regd), to set up an Engineering College, at a rural location.

He has a vast administrative experience, spanning over four decades. He is a great achiever, using modern management techniques. He is a Philanthropist and an Educationist, always sets high goals to achieve greater heights. He is the driving force of the college on its journey towards becoming a 'Center of Excellence'.
